Portrait TheoPORTRAIT DRAWING AND PAINTING

10-14 July Monday to Friday 9:00-16:00

Portraiture is one of the most celebrated, and challenging, forms of painting. In this 5-day portrait course, students will be working with different drawing exercises in the morning, studying the human sculls well as doing shorter contractual drawings from the live model.  In the afternoon, students will work and complete one painting. A simple color palette will be used and focus will be on correct drawing both when painting and drawing, as drawing is the foundation for any likeness to the model.

Students of any level of experience are welcome, and the teacher will adapt the instruction to each student’s skill level.
